Sticky Marinated Chicken

Using Muscovado Sugar, this delectable Sticky Marinated Chicken is finger-licking good. During summer, opt to cook on the barbeque instead of in the oven and we sure our Sticky Marinated Chicken will be a family favourite.
Ingredients
- ¼ cup CSR Muscovado Sugar
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 1 tbsp finely grated ginger
- 1kg chicken drummettes
- Sesame seeds, for serving
- Spring onions, for serving
Method
- Pre-heat oven to 160°C fan-forced.
- Combine sugar, soy, balsamic vinegar, honey, garlic and ginger in a large bowl. Add chicken pieces and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 20 mins.
- Arrange chicken pieces in a lined baking dish and tip half of the marinade over chicken. Bake for 25 mins, turning once during cooking time.
- Place remaining marinade in a saucepan, bring to the boil, reduce heat and simmer until reduced and thickened.
- Serve chicken drizzled with reduced marinade and sprinkled with sesame seeds and spring onions
