Made in 5 easy steps, Shortbread is an old favourite that everyone in the family can enjoy over a cup of tea!
Ingredients
- 250g butter, softened
- 3/4 CSR Pure Icing Sugar
- 1/2 cup White Wings Cornflour
- 1 1/2 cups White Wings plain flour
Method
- Preheat oven to 150°C. Grease and line a flat baking tray.
- Beat butter & icing sugar until creamy. Mix in cornflour and flour.
- On a floured surface, roll out dough to 1 cm thick and cut into desire shape.
- Carefully place onto prepared baking tray and bake for 25–30 mins, until pale but crisp. Cool on a wire rack and store in an airtight container.
