Quick Apple Date Slice

This Quick Apple Date Slice is so easy to make and is such a good tasty lunchbox snack. All of the ingredients go in one bowl which means less fuss and minimal clean up. Make this Quick Apple Date Slice on a Sunday night for a tasty lunchbox treat to last the week.
Ingredients
- 1 cup White Wings self-raising flour
- 1 cup rolled oats
- ½ cup CSR Low GI Sugar
- 1 extra large egg, lightly whisked
- 125 butter, melted
- ½ granny smith apple, grated
- ⅓ cup dried dates, finely chopped
Method
- Preheat oven to 160°C fan-forced. Line a 20 x 20cm slice tray with baking paper.
- Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and mix until well combined. Spoon into prepared pan and press out to the side. Bake for 25 mins, or until just golden.
- Allow to cool in pan for 10 mins before removing to a cooling rack to cool completely.
