Christmas Shortbread

Nothing quite gets you into the festive season like buttery Christmas Shortbread. Cut yours out in stars, trees or angels to get in the Christmas spirit.



  1. Preheat the oven to 150°C. Grease a flat baking tray.
  2. Beat butter & icing sugar until creamy. Mix in cornflour and flour until combined.
  3. On a floured surface, roll out dough to 1 cm thick and cut into Christmas shapes with a cookie cutter.
  4. Carefully place biscuits on the prepared oven tray and prick with a fork. Bake for 25-30 mins, until shortbread is pale but crisp. Cool on a wire rack then dust with remaining icing sugar.
