No matter how full your guests are, they won’t be able to resist the temptation of Chocolate Truffles. Chocolate truffles also make a great home-made gift. Just place them in a box lined with baking paper or wrap in cellophane.
- 125g dark chocolate
- 60g butter
- ¾ cup CSR Soft Icing Mixture
- 100g packet almond meal
- 4 tbs cream
- 150g dark chocolate, extra
- 1 tsp copha
Place chocolate and butter in a small microwave safe bowl. Cook on high for 90 secs.
Stir in CSR Soft Icing Mixture, almond meal and cream. Beat until smooth. Refrigerate for 30 mins or until firm.
Roll heaped teaspoonfuls of the mixture into balls. Place on baking paper.
Combine extra chocolate and copha in a microwave safe bowl. Cook on high for 90 secs.
Coat truffles with chocolate. Place on a tray to set.
